PERSONALITY

☓ Understandably the Alanna of now and the Alanna of the pre-war era are very different people. When you're forced to watch your husband be murdered and child kidnapped, it changes you for the worse (or sometimes for the better). That said, she still wears her wedding ring on a chain around her neck as a reminder of where she's been.
☓ Initially stand-offish, she warms up once someone gets to know her but there is always a length that she keeps people at in order to keep herself from being hurt again. At the heart of it she is scared of losing more people and further diving into blood-thirsty ruthlessness.
☓ Lives by a dog-eat-dog philosophy and survives with former skills taught by her military husband to keep herself alive in the beginning. The robot butler and excellent dog certainly helped in keeping herself safe and sound to get where she is today.
☓ Hardened by the act now, the first few kills were the worst but she knew that it was something that needed to be done if she was going to survive the fight with her husband's killer. Which, speaking of Kellogg, she bashed his face in with a hammer.
☓ Her trust is hard-earned but the Railroad and Minutemen are two organizations that have her assistance if needed. Her nickname with the Railroad, Charmer, comes from the fact that she has used manipulation to both kill and get what she wants.
☓ Sings along with Diamond City Radio a lot; it's probably some of the few times that someone might see her smiling and/or laughing.
